During this five module Certificate there will be theory, experiential work, behavioural and cognitive strategies discussed and consideration of depression, anxiety and mindfulness. The course will provide practitioners the facility to hone their observation, assessment, evaluation skills, and formulate treatment recognising external influencers as well as their thoughts, moods and emotions, and behaviour.

This workshop will be useful for anyone interested in the world of CBT and specifically useful for psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, probation workers, teachers and people in the helping professions who wish to use CBT techniques and tools within their work setting.
Trainer : – Karen F Burke (M.Sc. Gestalt Psychotherapy) is registered and accredited by the UKCP and has practised Gestalt Therapy in both private practice and in organisations, including agencies for looked after children, hospices and NHS. Karen is currently working for a charity that works with anyone who is touched by adoption, and in private practice in Manchester and Lancashire and holds a diploma in CBT.
