“People come into therapy to change their future, not their past” – Dr Milton Erickson
As a relationally-focused therapist, I work with individuals and couples to explore the relational issues from the past that can sometimes ‘set the standard’ for how we live today. Being in therapy with me provides a confidential, safe and supportive environment for healing, change and growth.
My work as a therapist has included supporting people experiencing anxiety and stress, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, phobias, and depression. I can also help with the issues that can arise from sexuality and sexual identity.
My training journey has involved coaching, hypnotherapy, NLP therapy, and mindfulness, and I am currently engaged in advanced clinical training in transactional analysis psychotherapy. I adopt a naturally integrative approach to therapy, synthesising the best elements of different therapies within a consistent theoretical framework. I am a member of the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy and the UK Association for Transactional Analysis, and I work within the codes of ethics and conduct of those organisations.
