Post Graduate Level 7
The course is run over 5 days on: Friday 18th October 2019, Friday 29th November, Friday 13th December, Friday 17th January and Friday 14th February.
This course is suitable for qualified psychotherapists and counsellors who wish to extend their practice to include hynotherapy.
Each day will include a mixture of teaching, videos and interactive learning and will be accompanied by preliminary reading. This is primarily an experiential course. Other resources and references will be made available to accompany each day. 80% attendance is required to pass the course. There is no exam, although there will be ongoing practice required during the day with fellow students.
The course will be run over 5 modules and will be facilitated by Dr Jonathan Lloyd who for the last 13 years has run a busy private practice in Bramhall which incorporates psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. He has lectured on counselling and ran The Northern College of Creative Hypnotherapy which trained hundreds of hypnotherapists over 6 years. His doctorate from the University of Manchester was on the use of metaphor on counselling and he is the author of Whales in the Desert: The use of Metaphors in Therapy. He is a director of the International Attachment Network and has spoken at many conferences across Europe. He will be a keynote speaker at the MIP conference this November.

Day 2 – 29th November 2019 – Self Hypnosis & Working with Trance States
Day 3 – 13th December 2019. Metaphors of the Mind & The Inner-Child
Day 4.- 17th January 2020 Clinical application – how to work with presenting issues
Day 5.- 14th February 2020 – Clinical application (continued) & review
