Low Cost Placement run by Psychotherapy Trainees
The Manchester Institute offers Third Year Trainees who are registered on our 4 Year Psychotherapy Training Programme, a placement through the Low Cost Clinic.
This means that Trainees training at our institute will be offered the chance to work with at least two clients within the Low Cost Clinic.
It is a unique opportunity for Trainees to start working clinically and getting supervision to that end.
It also means that Trainees who have entered into our 4 Year Psychotherapy programme will get the opportunity early in their training to work with clients.
This is a unique opportunity to students entering on our Therapy Training and stands alone from other trainings offered within the North West and the UK

The Low Cost Clinic is a unique scheme within the Psychotherapy and Counselling world – where counselling and therapy is offered to people from low incomes – opening therapy up to sections of the society who cannot afford private psychotherapy.
