Psychotherapy came along at just the right time in my life and has had a significant impact; helping me address some unhelpful patterns from the past and improve my relationships greatly. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the private sector, managing people and projects across the fields of publishing and digital media; but a seed of an idea planted 20 years ago to pursue a career as a therapist kept calling back to me. I now believe this is where I was always meant to be.
For me, the most important thing in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist; to find a therapist who you feel comfortable enough with to open up and be vulnerable with. When that relationship works in a co-creative way, we can transform something that we perceived as ‘broken’ into something more beautiful and stronger than ever before. It is a great privilege to do this work, and as a result I aim to offer a safe space which honours the uniqueness of each client, tailoring the work to their individual needs. I passionately believe that therapy ultimately offers us the opportunity to find our way home to our truest selves and reach our highest human potential.
